Dutch National Ballet/Het Nationale Ballet revives Rudi van Dantzig's grand production of Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, originally premiered in 1967 as the first evening-length ballet created in the Netherlands. Two casts were photographed on 9 October 2019 at the Muziektheater in Amsterdam. Qian Liu (Juliet), Semyon Velichko (Romeo), Edo Wijnen (Mercutio) and Jozef Varga (Tybalt); Salome Leverashvili (Juliet), Timothy van Poucke (Romeo), Edo Wijnen (Mercutio) and Jared Wright (Tybalt).
