The perennial seasonal favourite returned to Het Nationale Ballet/Dutch National Ballet in December. Nutcracker and Mouseking with choreography from Wayne Eagling and Toer van Schayk, and eye-catching designs by van Schayk, premiered in Amsterdam in 1996. Two casts were photographed in this run, respectively headed by Qian Liu, Young Gyu Choi and Edo Wijnen, and Anna Tsygankova, Constantine Allen and James Stout.
